Faranak Shekoohi has 10 years of Iranian clinical and hospital experience in the field of Physiotherapy and more than 5 years of Canadian experience as a Physio-Assistant and as a Practicing Kinesiologist. She earned a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Iran, in 2000. She mainly worked with orthopedic, rheumatoid and musculoskeletal disorders and sport-injury patients in private clinics, general hospitals and home care centres. Besides, Faranak has been an active member of the Iranian Physiotherapy Association and a member of the BC Association of Kinesiology as well. Having lots of experience working with different patients makes her confident enough to implement therapeutic exercise to help people who suffer from poor posture, poor condition and osteoporosis, etc., and also people who are candidates for the Active Rehab Program, ICBC clients. She speaks English and Farsi fluently.
