Marzieh Shirdelan

Marzieh Shirdelan has an extensive background in the medical health and wellness field. She has a medical degree (MD) from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, as well as a specialization board in Paediatrics from Iran University of Medical Sciences. She has more than 15 years of experiences as a physician both in hospitals and private office back in Iran.

Marzieh immigrated to Canada with her family in 2008. Due to many challenges for International medical graduated she decided to continue her career in a new field. As a result, she obtained a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from National College of Osteopathy in Toronto in 2012.

Osteopathy is a natural medicine and science that treats the whole body. The role of the osteopathic practitioner is to perfect the art of listening to the body and to support it where it is trying hardest to correct itself, as the body has an amazing ability to heal itself. Combining this with a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and disease processes as a physician, Marzieh is able to facilitate healing and support homeostatic mechanisms.

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves interacting with people and plans to stay in the health field throughout her career.
